Arthur Weiler’s father owned Twin Nurseries on Milwaukee Avenue in Prairieview IL. Arthur worked for his father and later managed the business when his father semi-retired in 1950. In 1957, Arthur purchased a piece of land on Route 22 near Lake Zurich IL and started his own nursery changing the name to Arthur Weiler Nursery.  In 1968, Arthur purchased a farm in Zion IL, where the main office is located, and Incorporated in 1973. In 1976, Arthur’s son, Glenn, joined the company and now is President. In 1985, Weiler purchased an additional 51 acres of land on Route 173, just 4 miles from the main office.

     Weiler grows an extensive line of trees, shrubs, and evergreens in finished sizes on 220 acres. The nursery division sells to landscapers and nurseries throughout the Midwest. Weiler’s specializes in plant material installation, parkway trees, and complete landscapes. Glenn and Beth Weiler (3rd generation) operate the nursery division. Our commercial landscape division, operates as a general contractor, serves commercial accounts such as land developers, municipalities, and golf courses. Additionally, we handle erosion control, engineered retaining walls, grade seed and sod, silt fence, and other landscape needs.

    Arthur Weiler, Inc. is located 4 miles East of I-94 on the Illinois/Wisconsin state line. Our location is close to Gurnee Mills Shopping Center, Six Flags Great America, and the new Minor league ball field, Field of Dreams.
